hello my lovelies!
Im writing you quickly from an internet cafe that is about to close and shutting off lights....even though its really early. weird.
I am in Greece, Delphi to be exact. Let's recap
a) I feel like Hans Thomas which is quite a wonderful feeling indeed.
b) Hanging out with my cousins for the first few days was really fun. I feel like we kinda bonded which was cool. It was SO fucking hot that we just sat around the house all day and then would go out to cafes at night etc
c) Speaking of cafes...the cafes here are AMAZING, there is nothing like these in LA...oh man i cant even describe them
d) the people on my program are pretty cool...except for this group of 4 frat boys who heard me refer to an "asshole frat boy that backed his car into mine" and got really pissed and offended....wtf mate he crashed into my car!
e) Delphi is the most beautiful place ive ever been, it's like a hot version of the swiss alps almost. and the restaurants overlook this bay and the mountains and its just fucking breathtaking its amazing...oh man
f) i miss you all terribly...le sigh!
g) greggers! i hope you are having fun in Sri Lanka (not that you'll be reading this but still)
h) athens has public transportation i can actually figure out how to USE!
i) i really wish i spoke greek...i feel like a total cultural reject. alas!
j) i need to start taking pictures of people because i basically have none, just of historical sights, which are awesome as well of course
much love,
kt

I don't know if Greg will read our ljs. I told him he has to read all our back entries and he seemed quite difficult in that area.

oh - Delphi is a hot version of the Swiss alps? You'll have to explain that one...
And I feel you on the "wish I spoke the language thing" - I know elementary Tamil now (spoken where we were) but it's so frustrating, and I'll bet poor Sri Lankans are far less likely to know English than Greeks.
Ok, later
